HELP dealership says front camber is non-adj.

At the dealer and they are saying the front camber on my V6 1le suspension is cannot be adjusted...?

I was thinking that either the top or bottom bolt/mounting allowed for movement???

Am I wrong? Any reference material to die then it's adjustable???

Thanks

I thought the V6 1LE has the V8 SS struts, which are definitely adjustable. Source, I have had mine done.

Front camber is adjustable at the strut. Loosen two lower bolts a little. Use a long bolt threaded into the side to set the camber and tighten it up.

Oh, I will be going to another dealership next time. Luckily autox this Sunday was cancelled... Gives me time Sunday to dial in the front myself.

Do you know the size and thread outcome for the camber adjustment bolt?

Sorry, I don't know the size. Just picked through my bolt bin until I found one that worked.

You don't really need the bolt unless you are going back to positive camber. If you loosen the strut bolts and drop the car back down gravity will put it at negative camber. Hope this helps.

And yes find another shop. They're idiots. All cars have adjustable camber. Caster isn't though. Not with oem parts anyway.
