Wax and Glaze for Summit white. HELP!

I was hoping to get some advice or some product ideas to keep my Summit white SS looking its best. I like to use Klasse glaze to keep my camaro looking sharp but its next to impossible to see the white glaze on a white car.... does anyone have any tips or suggestions for wax's or glazes that are amazing on white cars?

Any advice would help :-D

White is tough. I've had white cars and the only really way you see how good a job you did was inside under florescent lighting. Outside in the sun it is just bright and blinding, unlike dark colors which you can easily see how good of a job you did. You can see your reflection like a mirror but with white you don't get it. I've tried Meguiar's, Mother's, Adam's and no matter how good of a job I did it never popped like my Red Jewel Tintcoat.

Choosing a wax is determined by personal preference for either ease of use, shine or protection.

One wax or specific sealant/glaze cannot chemical better on a specific paint color, but, they can be different based on what I've listed above.

Best way to apply the wax/glaze is to do one panel at a time.

A good way to spot the glaze when applying it is to look for areas that are hazy in case you lose track of where you last applied the product.

I'd personally stay away from Glaze as that only adds temporary shine and little to almost no protection at all. True shine out of paint comes from paint correction and the glazes/waxes only slightly "enchance" it.

Find yourself a good wax you're comfortable with buying/applying and experiment.

I have personally used Adam's Americana, Wolfgang Fuzion estate, many of the CG wax, Meguiars, Zymol and many others. I currently use Zymol carbon and concours. Super easy to apply and notice so you don't lose track and apply too thick and pretty good protection for my former garage queen car.

Check out AG & CG to see what's on sale and go from there.

Other good brand waxes would be Carpro, poor boys, black diamond, etc.

White is challenging for sure.

Just try to do one panel at a time and maybe mark off a section with some painters tape.

I tend to work on white cars in slightly darker settings so I can see areas that are defective or have wax/sealant on them already so I don't go over it twice. Brighter lights on white paint tend to make it harder for me to ID imperfections. Any other color, I use as much light as I can get.

Good luck OP.

I own a white Volvo, and had another white wagon before that one. Agreed, it's pretty hard to see if you've completely removed any product that's been worked or applied on light colors, especially white; from polish residue, to glaze, to waxes or sealants. As others stated, try one panel at a time, and I prefer to use good lighting.

I'll use a glaze to help remove polish residue, I don't wipe the residue off after polishing, I apply a glaze right over the worked polish, let it haze over, and wipe it off. Over top of the buffed off glaze I'll lay my wax or sealant. After buffing the hazed over/cured wax or sealant I go back over the entire vehicle with Detail Spray.

I find the Chemical Guys' White Light is a great glaze to use between waxes.

I either use Adam's Americana or Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba every 2 months and then White Light on the month it doesn't get waxed.

It helps prevent wax build-up and the White Light effect seems to last about 7-10 days.

Just used Adam's Polishes - Liquid Paint Sealant, and it added a very deep shine to my Summit White. I also did one panel at a time, and made sure to spread it very thin. Easy to use and no residue.
