Anyone Buy Gray Mats for Gray Interior? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I bought a set of gray Lloyd's mats for my 2011 SS with gray interior. The gray they sent me are not even close to the same shade of gray. I bought the mats months ago for car shows and did not even take them out. Now it has been to long to get my money back. Has anyone found a mat set that matches the gray interior of our cars? You can see the difference.

I bought a set of Lloyd mats from USSpeed.com. I custom ordered them with Yellow Trim, and the word "Camaro" in Yellow with a Gold Bowtie above it. I ordered them in Black, because the window sticker to my car says that my interior color is "Black", and my floor mats are way too dark.

I probably should have ordered "Charcoal", "Ebony", or maybe "Graphite" for a better match. Anyway, I don't mind the color contrast and am really fine with it. If I had known, I would have ordered as close to exact as I could have, but it really doesn't bother me at all.

Could you call them back and say it was a gift and you just got it a few days ago and would like to trade it in for a different color? Otherwise try your dealership. May cost a bit more, but if you want that specific color I am sure they can help.

My interiors black and I ordered the Ebony with SS and trimmed in green. The Ebony has a charcoal look not dead black but I think theyre great and the slight contrast looks really good. I got the Ultras and they beat the hell out of the factory ones.

i think the closet match to the grey interior is titanium. i have grey carpet too, but went with ebony and the green ss... didn't want the carpet looking all dirty.

I bought a set of mats directly from Chevy through my dealer and they were a perfect match. Cost a bit more but...

The LLoyd mats blow the Chevy mats away. Theyre twice as thick and you can get them in a variety of colors and trims. The trunk mat is killer also. USSPEED had the best price with free ship on the Ultras.

I'd keep the mats. The contrast with the lighter carpet will look good and they won't show as much dirt as lighter mats.

My '93 Camaro had a gray interior with light carpet and I got black mats for it. Brought a little pop to the interior. They went well with the two tone black and gray seats, like in the 5th gens.

I learned not to purchase gray mats for my gray interior as no one has a perfect match. I would just get black and go two tone.

Not a bad idea as there is plenty of black in the interior as it is. Keep that two-tone thing going on.
