Absolutely hilarious
I'm in the northeast and there's not enough E85 stations to make it work for me. There's a couple shops up here who know how to run it and never had a problem. I'll be going meth in the future

I know how to make it work, but it will never change the reliability or potential engine failures when relying on it as a fuel source. It has it's place in the performance world but you should know all the details before committing. Keep in mind when someone is trying to sell you something they have something to gain, so they will tell you all the positives and none of the negatives. I prefer to educate my customers and let them make the decision knowing full well the risk. Once they have all the details they rather not mess with it. I am giving up a sale in the process of educating my customers. So I have something to lose in the short term but a customer for life in the long term. We do use it in very specific applications with fail safes in place, typically engines with no other intercooling options. I attribute meth injection success to Casino Success, you never hear when they lose, but always hear when they win. Been in the business 36 years I can't tell you how many calls I have received, my meth system failed and took out my motor from either self or other shop builds. Can it work, Yes, can you win at the Casino yes, but the odds are stacked against you. There are so many other ways to make power reliably that do not introduce as much risk. If you are a fan, Great! go for it. Just don't push a non gambler to go to the casino with false promises. Ted.

Thanks I appreciate that. E85 isn't practical for me so what other choice would I have if going FI in the future other than meth? The last shop who did most of the build on my old 01SS uses/has used meth for a long time and always had great success. Won't mention any names but they are a VERY popular shop. With E85 not being so widely available up here, Meth seems like the go to but maybe I'm wrong. I think we'll be talking in the near future. I'm in CT very close to the casinos but I'm not a gambler and trust me nobody would make me do that But I am about an hr away from your shop so maybe I can win there Thanks again for the info

I have a 700 RWHP combo that needs no meth injection. Ted.

Or do a cam to bleed off some dynamic compression and 93 octane will work better. The thing for me is I would have a hard time tearing the engine down for a cam install since it has to basically be torn down to the short block anyway and not do lower compression forged pistons. Jenetty's 700whp 93 combo does work but you are pretty much capped off at that power level if you leave the stock pistons in it. So if you ever want more, then it's coming back apart again for pistons/rods.

All that said…even a blend of E is SO worth the aggravation. I’m able to make the power number in my signature at “only” E50. And with at least E50, you could run the stock bottom end for a long time at say 650-700 WHP.

I was thinking about adding a JMS for safety measure myself. Anything to keep me out of the engine will do me good. It may add a few ponies to the end result but honestly whatever helps.
