1 Original rear tire replaced... Should I replace the other as well?

At VIR in October I had a rear tire get cut and subsequently patched. Since then Chevy replaced the tire under the wheel and tire protection plan, leaving me with one new rear tire while the rest of the tires have 6 track sessions of about 20 minutes each and less than 3,000 miles total.

So now I am wondering if I need or should replace the other rear tire. I think the fronts will be just fine.

Any thoughts?

thanks,
JD

They didn't give you a hard time getting it replaced even though you patched it?

I bent my right front rim and damaged the tire at the track last weekend. When the new rim and tire come in I'm planning on having the new tire shaved to match the old.

Interesting. To th OP probably OK I bought the auto nation cover everything warranty and had a rear repair at 400 miles. Wonder if I should press for a new tire. I'll have to dig out paper work.
