Tactical Parking

I took a trip to my local Sport's Authority this afternoon in my ZL1 and took a tactical parking position way out in the outskirts of the parking lot. I was well beyond 100 yards from the front entry and sure enough, this A-Hole parked right next to me.

I think he just wanted to see the car. How close is he really?

Tactical Parking

His driver's-side rear door was within 5 feet of my passenger-side fender. There were several hundred other unoccupied spaces closer to the front entry. Clearly, he was parking like a jerk-off on purpose.

That's what you get for taking 4 spots. You draw attention and people will mess your head. Obviously, it worked.

You drew first blood when you parked you car like that. If you had parked under the tree in between the lines he might have left you alone.

At moments like that, I like to relieve my stress by windshield finger painting with bearing grease.

I agree 100%. Just park in a single spot far away and I bet you won't have this problem.

There were hundreds of open parking spaces at least 100 yards in every direction around me. There was no first blood drawn. He went out of his way to be annoying and to take the 100-120 yard walk to the store like I did.

I never park in single spots. I've had to repair too many dings and scratches.

Due to the fact you drew attention which you seemed to want by parking in between the lines to begin with. That pushes other peoples buttons just as the driver of the truck pushed yours easily by parking near you. I understand the frustration of coming out and seeing a vehicle parked near yours in an empty lot! I am speaking from experience and you won't listen to logic it seems? The simple analogy of don't cross this line in the sand is exactly what you did by parking that way.
