Talking ***2019 SS 1LE***

2019 Camaro SS 1LE, or should I call it a Camaro GT4?

GM is talking Build Option...well here's what I think we need:

I'd like a 1ss 1LE with the ZL1 1LE goods (front bumper, fenders, hood, wheels, suspension, dive planes, possibly the rear wing)...basically a ZL1 1LE with the LT1 engine. And you can take out all of extra 2ss options.

The new GT4.R Camaro has the ZL1 1LE overall appearance but is running the LT1 engine. That's what I want, and it shouldn't really cost any more than the current 1ss 1LE, Unless I opted for the $3,000 wing.

These are off the shelf parts now, let's see it happen.

SS 1LE with suede door panels and a 427. That's all I need.

Haha. I think the Z/28 would have no sound deadening, DSSV, carbon brakes, etc. I actually think the ride/handling balance of FE4 is perfect, and would want to keep that along with the nice noise isolation (after plugging intake tube).

Well if that was ever to happen they would need to develop a new 7.0 "427". The LS7 is not being produced for anything but crate engines now, as it doesn't meet the newer CAFE and EPA standards Chevrolet is using.

Make the V6 1LE in 8AT (leave the SS as MT).

I had one a V6 8AT rental last week at Mulholland/Pt Mugu area last week and in the canyon runs, it was *always* in the powerband giving it better and more controlled acceleration out of turns than in a comparable MT where it would either lag from being too low in the current gear, or lose time shifting.

Also, two feet, two pedals. Coincidence?

Amen. Car would be at the dealer the following day... That would be nasty with a big cube V8.

I found the A8 to be pretty awful in the twisties honestly (It was a SS not V6, if that would make a difference). If you know your car, and how to properly choose the gear and when to shift, you shouldn't have any of those issues really. If it's lagging coming out of a corner, that just means you goofed on the gear you choose. Right gear coming out of a corner would eliminate any possible lag, or time wasted to shift to the right gear.
