0-60 timer instrument cluster vs PDR

I was doing a few 0-60 runs with the PDR on and I noticed the PDR shows about 4 tenths quicker then the cluster. Best time was 3.9 on the PDR with a 4.3 registering on the cluster. Next was 4.1 PDR and a 4.5 in the dash. Anybody else notice these two systems don't read the same or is mine not calibrated right?? Which system do you guys think is more accurate?

I think the zero to 60'cluster timer starts the second the wheels spin, so even if you've not launched yet it's going. Perhaps the pdr knows the difference ??

The PDR *probably* uses GPS. The DIC uses the VSS.

The PDR should be the more accurate one...it's easy to get the other timer to mess up.

Thanks for the responses. So the general consensus is that PDR should be more accurate. I'm cool with that! Has anybody else noticed the discrepancy between the two?

Yup. I've had the DIC say 5.0 0-60 with PDR Recording 4.6, and then the DIC saying 4.5 when PDR Recorded 3.9.

I've been wondering about this as well.
