Just bumping the key to start is the way gm does it for about 9 or 10 yrs. The starter system is controlled by ecu's The ignition sends a signal to the BCM which in turn sends data to the ecu commanding the vehicle to start. It actually has nothing to do with remote start option.

The C6 vette stores the battery in the trunk as well, better weight distribution!

...for the modern generation, IMHO, the Camaro has "the look". It's intangible, it owns the it factor. Just sayin...

Only the Z06 and the 427 Convertible (LS7 engines) have the battery located in the rear.

Has nothing to do with weight distribution. They needed someone to store the oil tank for the dry sump system.

The other models still have it under the hood next to the firewall on the passenger side.

The gas on the passenger side is a German car thing, with safety in mind. The mindset is that if you are out of gas, and refilling manually on the shoulder of the road- you're safer from oncoming traffic. I'm glad the Camaro embraced this because I got used to pulling up to the pump that way in my Audi and there's nothing worse than owning two cars with the gas on different sides lol. It's quite a walk of shame when you pull up to a busy pump in a badass car, and realize you are on the wrong side when you walk up to it....

The headlights on the 2014 have a bowtie for the non-RS and the CAMARO embossed on the black portion of the turn signal area for the RS package.

Heres one you haven't noticed

The side mirror on the passenger door is bigger than the one on the drivers door.

Careful you don't scratch the paint when you measure it.

On convertibles you can lay the seat forward. There is a key hole next to the rear seat, rather than the pull tab on the top.

It uses the key rather than the pull tab so if you leave your top down you can still leave stuff in your trunk. (on a side note, you must also press the lock button twice on the FOB to disable the trunk button on drivers door).

At least that's what I have heard, please verify for us

2010 2SS/RS door unlock/lock switch in the radio cluster right above the emergency flasher switch...WTF!!!

guess thats what makes the 2010 more unique than all the rest. That and no HUD.

There is no manual latch to open the trunk. So if your battery dies, you would only be able to gain access to the trunk by lowering the back seat and using the kidnap release to open the trunk and access your dead battery.

the windows go up after you shut the doors, and the doors have no courtesy lights so when you open the door at night another car might take your door off and there is no cover that should go on top of the cup holders

..the auto dimming feature on the driver side door mirror and rear view mirror are really nice are much appreciated to older eyes with road glare at night. Not unique, but very functional.
