I like the idea. Had both front and rear sensors on my 2013 Regal....

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

Go to the DIY section and look for my installed pics on the curb alert. Many of us use it here. If installed correctly, and calibrated correctly, it works fine. I've used them on my last three cars.

I've got those sensors on my SS Sedan and they drive me nuts. You pull into a parking spot with bushes in the front, no problem. Get back in to leave and the warning is going off and you can't stop it. Really, really irritating

I have the curb alert, and as Glen E said, if adjusted correctly it works fine.

Hopefully a front camera system will become part of the 2SS package in the near future. It is a great help on my C7.

My jammer doubles as one but honestly I don't need it for proximity. You get used to it after a while and just back into spots when you're not sure. The car's so short that you can always err on the side of caution anyway.

I usually back into parking spaces. Last weekend was in Sarasota with my car and what do you know? It's illegal so back in unless you're in this $hithole

I've had two sensors that I have used with great success for years:

Two eyeballs!

Work great, long lasting (now going on 75 years with constant re-energizing power source), accurate, and complete with build in alarm.

Alas, I understand they are no longer available on eBay and are on back order with Amazon. But you can order online & your credit card won't be billed until delivered.
