Just wanted to jump in and extend my congratulations on your retirement Scott! I thought I did I did some time with the Indiana State Police when I called it quits with 34yrs last year but 38yrs, man that's even longer and I know you've come into contact with way more people than I have.
The three times we've come across one another has always been a pleasure and you've represented well.
As I was told, I'll tell you the same; take some time off to rest and relax so you can recharge those batteries and then find something that you really enjoy and do it. I know you'll still be around for the love of cars and the brand but you'll be doing 'Scott Stuff' and that's the way to enjoy life even more so.

Take care and when in Indy, shout. Indy NexGen is always ready to extend hospitality!

Peace!

Wow did not see that coming, but health comes first! My wife and I, really enjoyed meeting you at the Frederick Md. Camaro event. She took a photo of you and me talking about the new ZL1 that was on display at the show. A year later I was a proud new owner of a ZL1 which we brought to the first Indy camaro fest. Thank you for signing my car and my poster, enjoy retirement and spend time with the family .

thank you all for the kind words and wishes -- it has been a privilege and honor to meet you all and converse -- and to serve you as 'voice of the customer' -- you all mean the world to me.

I'm french, I've been living in the US but currently live in France.

I'm driving a 2013 1LE Camaro I've imported through a german independant dealer.

It has been a pain. The Camaro is maybe the worst car you can think of in the streets of Paris.

But just wanted you to know I'm just in love with the car. You guys did an amazing job. I'm enjoying every single second in the car. From the super mega über expensive car park I have to pay for it, from the super expensive gas we have here, to the track moments and even more spirited driving in the Alps or anywhere in France.

This car amazes everybody, they didn't know americans could do anything else than heavy boxy pickup trucks.

I'll keep this my whole lifetime (statistically, I can hope at least 45 more years!) and will enjoy like a crazy man. My wife doesn't understand my love for a car that is absolutely meaningless and useless in Paris.

You, with a bunch of other guys, created, engineered and built such a piece of passion on wheels.

Your work was worth it. You make this random guy on the other side of the ocean a happy man every time he turns the key!

Thx for that. Enjoy your new life!

Congratulations Scott!!! You are an inspiration to myself and many other Camaro enthusiasts. I met you at the 2013 Sturgis Camaro Rally, and it was truly an honor to shake your hand and even sit down and BS with you a little bit at the bar. I was kinda "star-struck" when I met you, and it was something I will never forget. Thanks for signing my car too!!! You are truly a class-act!!! Now go enjoy your retirement!!!

P.S. Can I have your job?!?!?!?!?

Scott, You need this. I've met you on way to many occasions and really only know a small amount of what GM means to you. I just wish there were more vocal people at GM that showed how much they truly care like you did and still do.

When I hear GM, you are always the person I think of first.

YOU always wanted to know what I liked about the manufacturers cars I owned. YOU never criticized me because I owned a Japanese car. You wanted to know why so you could make GM better.

I will miss our days at the NY Auto show but I still have my Hawk you signed and always will!

Sneezy.

Retirement

Enjoy your retirement and thank you for your contributions in resurrecting the 5th gen Camaro. I ordered my 2010 White Camaro on Good Friday 2009 at 3:00 at Hampton Chevrolet. The car arrived February 10th 2010. See images

I will always cherish your signiture in my engine bay, Scott. It will always lead to the story as to who you are, as people ask about the signature. I wish you good health, and hope you will be working on your bucket list.

Take care, hope to see you in the future.
