6-8 Weeks To Get My Car??

I ordered a black 2ss/rs with orange stripes. dealer had the allocation and i placed my order before that thursday. When will it arrive? Will the stripes delay my order?
Has anyone had their come in less that 6 weeks? if so, how long?

6-8 weeks is great compared to what some people have had to wait. I ordered mine in March and got it in August. But I am sure they are spilling out faster now.

You won't know until you get a TPW. Once you get that, generally no more then 2 weeks from when it's actually built.

TPW is Targeted Production Week = When will it actually start being built.

What he said. For instance my TPW was 9/28. That means that it was going to be built sometime during the week of the 28th. It ended up being built on the 30th if I remember correctly. But you won't really know when you'll get it until you get that date.

Real time

They bumped the entire production up at the end of September by a month.

I ordered mine on Aug 19th, received it on Oct 23rd, drove it home on Oct 24th. Imperial Blue 2SS L99....Yea!!!!! Dyno'ed at 407HP, no mods.

Since the stripes are all put on at the Dealer, it should have no effect on your delivery time. That was 8.5 weeks. They have been getting faster, and are starting to get ahead of the curve, they just had a massive amount of pre-orders and orders. They are now starting to deliver standard stock vehicles in a variety of Trim Packages. They have even announced several dates of Termination (I think the Bumblebee cars are ending sometime in January). A couple colors have also been given a chop date.

Stripes are factory installed now so yes it will add some time to his order.

my order was 10 weeks. 4 for an allocation, 6 more until delivery. May 23-August 12.

Umm, that seems a bit high for the L99 (or LS3 for that matter).

I was going to say the same thing, unless he's talking about bhp Either that or that dyno reads extremely high

camaro2011, since you are getting an SS, the real meansure will be when you get your TPW, as stated above. I am a little south of you, but not much. Once your car is actually built. you should have your car at your dealer in about 1 month, that includes haveing the stripes put on, and the train ride home.
