Mom wants a new car

OK guys my mom is tired of her KIA optima and she wants a new car and today she told me she wants a 2 door car. I asked her what about a camaro she said is that the red one you sat in I said yes. She said it looks nice . My question is which camaro would you reccomend for my mom she is 5'3". I think she wants a sunroof but I'm not sure she wants a 2013 with the mylink preferably but she doesn't want over 24k which camaro would this fall into. Oh she wants a used one and hopefully this will keep her out of my challenger.

The doors are really high, at 5'2" she may feel a bit claustrophobic. She'll either love it or hate it..

A year old Camaro with sunroof for no more than $24K is going to limit you quite a bit. What other options does she want? Navigation? Leather seats? Auto or Manual? All of that will help us determine if she can do it at all or if she will be looking at a high-mileage trade in.

My mom just bought a challenger yesterday, when I saw her drive up in the driveway. 0-0

For a smaller lady, who wants 2 doors. I would say Mini Cooper? Or perhaps a Civic SI? Perhaps even a Scion tC or FR-S?

has she sat in a Camaro? if she's set on a Camaro, you can get a brand new LS for 24

That is definitely do able. Have her look at a 2013 2LS, too. It might not have all the options, but it will give her a newer, lower mileage car within her budget.

Regardless, she needs to take a Camaro for a test drive. The visibility may turn her off.

+1 Camaro is not an easy car to manuver in a parking lot it's big and at 5'3" seeing over that hood will be more like using the force. Hope it's strong with her.

If she is dead set on a Camaro or Cadillac what is the point of this thread? A decent, low mileage, two door Cadillac with a sunroof built in this decade is going to cost more than 24K. So she's looking at a new LS, a low mileage LT or a high mileage, low option SS. At least that's the market price around my area. Besides, I'm sure your mom loves you and trusts you so she wants YOUR advice, not that of a bunch of strangers on the internet.
