They are a brand BTR sells. Slow leak down race lifters. Like morel. I had one of the stock lifters collapse on my last build. Not taking any chances this time.

Surprised you aren't doing a 6 bolt since you started from scratch?

The LSA block should have no problem handling the power range I'm looking for and the boost I'm looking at running. The aftermarket blocks start getting to pricey. It's costly enough as it is.

That's some really nice stuff. Congrats, it's going to be a beast.

these lifters from Katech look good as well...http://store.katechengines.com/gm-hi...ters-p305.aspx

The Johnson lifters appear to be top notch. Which version did you get?

Wow really? I don't even know what to say... Sure auto is a little faster, but you have to pay 2k extra for it. For 2k I can get the 650hp package and blow away any auto ZL1 just saying!!

Wait a second 396? my 2015 ZL1 has a 373?? Does the 2012 ZL1 have a different engine?

As for 1/4 mile times autos may be a little faster on the shift but I am sure that with lots of practice the times would be extremely close.
Yea I agree I can't believe I ever owned a automatic ss it was so boring...

Your 2015 ZL1 has a 376cid like every other Camaro. I pull the engine and have it stroked and forged. The new 15' auto I bought had less than 200 miles on it when it hit the shop and had the engine pulled. The auto is more than a little faster and way more consistant. There is nothing boring about going down the 1/4 mile in any car with over 700 rwhp!!!

I almost bought those Stephen. I was told they were extremely noisy. Almost to the point of messing with the knock sensors. These are the lifters I got. I was told I didn't need the link bar, the drop in were all I would need.
