Powertrain warranty doesn’t cover electrical or sensors?

Depends on what sensors you're talking about, that's a very general term.

Guessing the clutch plate is considered part of the clutch assembly and therefore a wear item (like brake pads).
Need more info on the sensors. Some are considered part of the bumper to bumper warranty.

Yeah, I’d assume knock sensors would be considered part of the powertrain.

you can see why the clutch could be an exclusion.driving techique and ability(or lack of)could burn one up in a hurry.

Electrical and sensors should be covered by the bumper to bumper 3/36..only wearable parts not covered clutch, brake pads, wipers..
Clutch usually covered up to 12k miles if not deemed abuse.

Knock sensors would be considered an emission cotrol part covered under the emission warranty.if you have a tranny sensor problem you probably have a bigger trans problem
