I just installed the 6-piston Corvette calipers with Endless MX72 pads and it's amazing on the street so far. My buddy who helped me with the install has a CTS-V with OEM pads and he was shocked how much stopping power the Endless pads have. Headed my to Sebring Labor Day weekend so I'll see how they fair. They are a bit pricey but Based on reviews from GTR and Porsche owners they are soft on rotors, have long pad life, and quiet on the street. So far not a peep on the road but will know more after Sebring and Daytona at the end of the month.

I'd go with either Carbotech 1521/Bobcat or the G-loc equivalent (GS-1). Hawk performance ceramics are generally rated below HPS in terms of stopping power, and initial bite with the HPS pads is . . . ummm . . . a bit soft/unimpressive.

I swapped out my stock Brembo rotors and pads for the R1 Concepts Carbon Geomet slotted rotors and ceramic pads just over a year ago. Since swapping over I have put many awesome miles on them and highly recommend them to a fellow 1LE owner wanting an affordable brake upgrade. Get them if you want great braking performance in a ceramic combination with nearly no brake dusting and only an occasional faint squeak when coming to a stop at slow parking lot speeds.

So, when installing pads only, do you have to bed them in?
Or just when you also install new rotors? |

Are the Ceramic pad much hard on the Rotors, with regards to wear shorting it's life span and also did you see less dust.

You say they dug into the rotors,and went back to the OEM,was that the AC Delco or the GM Brembos
