The car has now been off loaded from the rails and is bayed in a lot awaiting truck transport. Once arrived at the dealer I have to wait until the 21st of May for the trucking company I am contracted with to pick it up and haul it back to the Northeast. I feel pretty confident I'll get to drive it before Thanksgiving.

Waiting in the lot I can see the car has moved from a parking space into one of the aisles. I am interpreting that as either they are in the process of loading the trailer or it is on a truck waiting to be dispatched. If it enters the roadway it's either on its way to the dealer or stolen! Can you feel the suspense?

04/17 club. FYI I received delivery of my car today. My emotional level is too high
From the totality of the experience and the events of today to say anything meaningful. It's all good but I need time to calm down and process. Just to let you know that your cars are getting closer

Congrats. They say the glaciers moved slowly. I think I know something that moves even slower. But I digress. Enjoy your ride!

I want to take the time to thank every member who followed this from day one till now. It was not an easy journey. To everyone who offered words of encouragement and support I say thank you. A special shout out to NB2017ZL1 for talking me down off the ledge numerous times. Peace

Lastly I'd like to thank Jody Neil and Shadi Judeh who both helped me get this car. Those guys in the last photo are priceless.

Our Z was picked up by the transport company in Kenner Louisiana around 6 PM. As of 8:45 the driver is now in Mississippi.

Looks like we have company for the long journey

Thank you. The car is on a trailer heading North through Alabama as of midnight Saturday. Could Monday be the day?

After another stop over in Concord NC the Z is now within striking distance. Spending ng the night somewhere in PA there's about another 156 miles to go. It's strange that this saga is almost over. Will life ever be the same? How will I adapt to not posting useless crap every day? What will you all have to read in place of my tirade? These as well as many other unanswered questions will be unveiled tomorrow. Same Bat Time, same Bat Channel!

2:30 PM this is the last leg. The Z is currently in Fairfield and on its way to being dropped off for the last time. By 3:30 I expect to be doing just one thing. Driving it you say? Nope. I just want to see my wife's smile. Gotta go !
