Sledge I guess I missed the awesome 1.42 60ft. I think yours needs a little more tuning since your 1/8 miles is so good and it would seem like your mph should be a little higher also. Still great run.

Nice pass trz!!!! You'd definitely had an 11.0 or better if you'd caught the lower DA and still had the same 60'.

BTW, did you trade your M6 for an A10, or do you have both now?

Thanks! I had you in my sights and couldn’t close the deal. Agree, it was a 10 sec day a bit earlier with great track prep then and all day. It ran consistent 1.7s and I even had a 129 mph on one run. It was mostly hot lapping. No serious cool down and it stayed consistent in the 11 teens. Really wanted to be at the top of both SS and ZL1 stock lists. Probably our last shot at great DA this year.

I sold the ZL1 M6 and traded the 16 SS with Becky D for the 18 ZL1 A10. This was during the big snow storm and Becky trailered the car 8 hours south of Detroit to get past the snow line. It was another flawless deal and Becky went way beyond the norm and kept me safe.

Fantastic run RohoSnyper! What did your car weigh during that run? I assume you have port injection? Also what kind of power did you put down with everything listed on your pass? Again great run!

You didn't miss me by much! Lol! You were so close to having the best M6 ZL1 time too! That would definitely be cool, to be on top of 2 or 3 lists.

I too run consistent 11.1s with a good track where I can consistently get 1.7 60s. Hot lapping doesn't hurt your time that much. It actually helped me on that cold night I made it into the 10s. I was mostly battling traction that night. I got lucky the track came around just enough for me to get it done. I have no doubt others like yourself and big dave will get into the 10s at some point. It's just a matter of everything coming together at the same time.

That's a cool car buying story! Congrats!!

Awesome pass trz! Like David said, it's great to see another Z flirting with the 10s. We just need more owners to get their cars out to the track when the air gets good. With more cars out there and owners getting more experience, we'll see more of these cars knocking down low 11s and possibly high 10 second passes. I can't wait for spring to get here.

wow! Nice pass! So you traded in your M6 for the A10? I haven't really been keeping up with the list lately but I just noticed that you posted a slip with ET within 1/1000 sec of mine on the M6. I fully expected to see a faster one by now. I'll keep trying to improve my bone stock times but my new focus is on the Hoosier Slicks. Hoping to see mid-to-low 11s on those.

You still have me by a bunch in the ZL1 M6 - that run in Orlando was in the new 18 ZL1 A10. My fault for not making that clear - that run should be deleted from the list. I've edited the post.

The best bone stock/stock tire run in the 17 M6 was in the 11.9 range with a 2.0 60 foot. I went a bit faster in the 17 M6 with drag radials but not by a lot and with no launch consistency. The 17 M6 was a ball to drive on a road course, on Tail of the Dragon, and around town.

So, after about a year of trying in the 17 M6, I traded for the 18 A10 in Dec 17. That was when I ran the time that is posted in error as an M6. My best run in the 18 A10 was an 11.1 a few weeks ago with about 2,500 miles and some really good air. That run should be posted at the next update. The A10 isn't as much fun as the M6 but I'm slowly getting over it 1/4 mile at a time.

Oh, too bad. It was kinda nice to have some M6 company on that list.

Yeah, that's the frustrating part. It's nearly impossible to get consistently fast while fighting the torque thief.

HaHa! In that case it probably won't be more than a few miles before the M6 nostalgia wears off. Good luck!
Here's to good air!
