Radio not acquiring signal

Hello

Any idea where the antenna is located? My radio is not picking up any radio signal, and I suspect the antenna cable to be disconnected.

Is it in the trunk next to the truck lock?

It's in your rear window for the radio and the antenna on the roof is for XM/OnStar.

ok. Will check the rear Windows. The antenna is connected in the trunk. So no problem there.

I didn't notice that your Camaro was a vert. Then your antenna is in your spoiler. I would take it to your dealer if you still have warranty. They have a device they hook up that detects radio reception something like a radar dish. Are you located in the US?

I found out that the reception is bad.
And this module could be the culprit.

It is the antenna amplifier.
But I cannot find a wiring diagram to check out if it is from this module (fried) or from the wiring going in it.
Antenna cable is connected to it. And another connector with one cable is plugged in it. The connector could have up to three cables. Does it come by default with one, or are two other cables missing? I still need to find out.

I'm glad you found out what was causing it. But you've gotten way over my head now. Either a car shop that installs radios might help or take it to the dealer.
