Thumbs up 2012 LSX Challenge Series - 5th Gen Camaro Index-Style Bracket Racing

Quote:
After the success of its first full season in 2011, the all LSX drag strip action of the Chevy Performance LSX Challenge Series is back in 2012 with yet another full season of four events. 2011 brought out the fastest LSX powered cars in the country, and we are looking forward to 2012 as the intensity of the competition continues to grow.

For 2012, the LSX Challenge Series will still be a familiar format of five classes: LSX Drag Radial, LSX All Motor, LSX Real Street, LSX Rumble (index), and the popular 5th Gen Camaro Challenge. As for venues and dates, the LSX Challenge Series will be held in conjunction with the following events:

March 15th to 18th, 2012: NMCA Season Opener at Bradenton Motorsports Park, in Bradenton, Florida

June 1st to 3rd, 2012: Chevy High Performance Nationals at Atlanta Dragway, in Commerce, Georgia

September 7th to 9th, 2012: LS Fest at Beech Bend Raceway, in Bowling Green, Kentucky

October 11th to 14th, 2012: LSX Shootout/NMCA World Finals at Indianapolis Raceway, in Indianapolis, Indiana

To be eligible to win the championship of any of the classes a racer must attend at least 3 of the 4 races, including the LSX Shootout. As an added bonus, Chevrolet Performance will award the fastest racers in each class an extra $250 if they win using a GM Performance Parts LSX Bowtie Block.

March is just a few short months away, so get those LSX beasts buttoned up for spring time testing!

Now for the fun part, the 5th Gen Camaro Challenge by Camaro Performers:

This class celebrates the return of the all-new Chevy Camaro. With easy to follow, open index-style rules, 5th Gen Camaro Challenge welcomes new Camaros of all levels of performance to battle it out for the grand prize! Also, at the LSX Shootout (in Indiana) all 5th Gen Camaro Challenge class racers can have a free entry into Saturday’s LSX True Street class.
