Gas attendant put 87 octane in my car (LS3)
Just as it says, the Gas attendant when I filled up put 87 octane in my car instead of 93 like I asked. It got about 15 gallons in when I noticed and jumped out of my car and shut it off. Then filled it the rest of the way with 93 octane. I got the car home but should I siphon the gas out? Not sure if 87 will just add a knock then I just go back to 93.
Lesson learned, never letting anyone else put gas in my car. |

Dude your car is going to blow up now .
Really My Motorcycle has higher compression than your car and will run just fine on 87 and my bike does require 93 or higher octane . Just don't beat on your car while you use this tank of fuel up .

It's ok. Stay out of WOT. Start mixing the real stuff at 1/2 tank or less. It's ok.

Pulled the fuses to be safe. I'm gonna try to siphon most of it out tomorrow. Thanks for all the help. Knew I could count on all of you.

Why bother? Are you heavily modded? It's ok if the answer is no.
