2014 Camaro

My 2011 CGM 2SS/RS is getting up there in miles. It is just past 94K on the odometer. Started thinking maybe it is time to trade in even though I have only had two issues: Squeeky belt tensioner replaced under warranty, and gas pedal replaced (sensor issue) by me for pay ($50 part). Still looks like new(er) car and I am happy with it. I stop and look at current crop of available 2014 SS and 2LE models. I just cannot do it.........Personally, I much prefer the 2010-2013 version. I'll just keep going with my current car. Am I being too petty about the refresh?

If you trade do it before it hits 100,000, anything over that usually turns away a lot if potential buyers.
Right now is a great time to get a 13 if you don't care for the refresh. There are still a lot to choose from.
Since you are in michigan give BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet a hollar, she will give you the best deal out there.

Otherwise I would keep it until repairs start costing more a month than a car payment would. You may be able to save enough cash to put down a larger down payment or even pay cash.

If it is your daily driver and you commute I would get a new one while interest rates are low.
Rates will start going up when the government scales back quanitive easing, where they are buying their own treasury notes to keep the dollar down. Once they scale that back the dollar will go up and so will interest rates.

Why is everyone so scared of the big 100,000?

You can get a hell of a deal on a brand new 2013 right now. So... what's your excuse now?

Do it! Love it!

If you have no problems or issues with your car and still like it, why get rid of it??

I do have a truck that is about 1000 miles away from hitting 300K, so I do keep my vehicles for a long time (1997 F150). I traded a 2006 Trailblazer SS in on the Camaro that had 150K on it. The Camaro is my DD even in the winter......Just don't want this ride to be over, I like it a lot.

These cars now what day are built to go way more than 100 K. Stick with it if you have no problems. Maybe the Sixth generation will be better.
