Based on Nitto information and testing the order follows.

1. NT05 - excellent (best) dry weather traction - moderate wet traction
2. Invos - very good dry and wet traction - quiet ride characteristics
3. NT555 - moderate dry and wet traction

NT05s should out perform the Invos and NT555s on dry pavement.

I beg to differ on the looks!

wish the NT05 came in 245/45/20 for us people with stock wheels. I love the look of the NT05's but the lack of a front match has me going to invo route

are there any cons to the NT05s? Never considered them, but if Nitto says they get the best dry traction..being in sticky Florida, that may be a good choice for me.

Shooting for 20x9/20x11...

Depends on what you consider a con....

Possibles are: less tire mileage, reduced rain capability, higher noise level, reduced ride comfort

This is in comparison to the Invo

Yea, as long as I can still operate when that fluke rain storm shows up mid day I should be fine...otherwise I avoid rain in this car like the plague.

As for noise, never knew there was noise increase for types of tires, but I am a newbie at this..then again, having a cam with a bit of drone from Borla mufflers.. I may never notice it.

What time of mileage do you guys see on these on the NT05 or 555s? That is something I never took into consideration. I guess the Pzeros, some people can get 30k..I have gotten the burnouts out of my system lol

I talked to a Nitto tech rep today he said I should use 275-40-20 or bigger to meet GM specks on weight for the camaro. The 245's up front will not meet specks.
And the NT05 is the better street performance summer tire.

I have the Invo's on my wife's 2SS...I really like these tires they perform as they should in wet and or dry weather, I feel very connected to the road and the car hooks up well when I need to accelerate from a stand still...my wife concurs!

I love my NT05s...
I have about 10 or so Autocross events, one .25 mile track day, and about 3k miles of daily driving on them. They're not the best tire for rainy weather but they did fine at an AutoX in the wet. I just wouldn't drive around with kids in the car on a rainy day or anything.

I'd say I have about 5-6 more events or about 5k more miles on them... The Autox is what eats up the tires... the shoulders are going before any other part of the tread. I think they're much better than the stock tires but I also went with 295s all around so that might have biased my opinion too... I'm going with them again next round but with a shorter sidewall.
