Performance grille, why the air blockers?

So got my performance grille installed today looks awesome, but why the blockers in the corners? I know some had installed them without the blockers. Any reason why they are there vs being nothing on the stock grille? Can't be that much of a serious difference I would think.

I think those are for the convertible? If you don't have the convertible then you need to remove them or it will block air to the lower radiators

Radiator cooling ports from what people have been saying. Should've removed them before install on coupe.

Block off for the convertibles.....

No auxillary coolers on verts.....

Ugly spots instead... on the verts....

Coupes remove them!

Restricted airflow to the auxillary coolers!

So just went back to the dealer and they told me that they can take them off, but they are going to have to charge me.. Wtf, I just knew that would be the response, he said "his job is to install the parts I give him" total crap, just another issue.. Lol

if they are the one who got the part for you, then they installed the incorrect part. it is there responsibility to correct it. DO NOT pay for it again. I'd be furious. (calm at first of course).

Yup, I ordered the part online and brought it to them, there is no instruction for installation,so how was I supposed to know? it just says "refer to GM accessorie installation #12345 (says somthing exactly like that) so obviously it should of told them, nothing but problems from them, I'm pretty pissed, but I got a good mechanic as a buddy and we will just pull the bumper off ourself and just take the blockers out. Never ends lol
