SS and ZL1 sharing the same heat and venting unit?

I am looking into details on if the ZL1 Recaro seats use the same heating and cooling unit. I have reached out to my dealer and they were not able to confirm. Hoping someone from GM or someone more familiar with the ZL1 might have an answer.

If not, the price of those seats just got even more expensive :( will make me wonder if they use the same wire harness, etc.

I haven't looked, but based on other GM vehicles, the heating is just a heating pad in the seat cushion, and the cooling is from fans mounted in the seat frames that may or may not have an AC duct directed under the seat. The only thing it needs is perforated upholstery.

Also, on the 5th gen at least, if you upgrade to the Recaro heated seat, you had to get a BCM calibration to match the seat heater to your car.
