Exclamation How to say "No" to your friends?

Getting a new Camaro, and I just know that my friends are gonna ask me if they could drive it. How do you guys say no to your friends without it being awkward?

I usually laugh and just say no. Having a stick usually helps since most of my friends don't drive stick.

If anything happens, are you willing to pay for it out of pocket? Or, if you wreck it, are you willing to buy me another one? If the answer is no on both accounts, then you ain't driving it. Simple as that.

My best friend use to own a 2lt manual he can drive my car as long as I'm in it he also has only owned manual transmission cars. To every other friend I tell them to go choke on a bag of dicks and if they don't like that to go cry about it on the internet

No one in 8 years ever asked to drive my '10 SS but I have let everyone I know
drive it from day one. Probably 20+ friends and relatives including Emily who
just turned 16 and got her license. She took it out solo Easter Sunday.
Loan it out, no way. Let someone drive it, why not ?

I used to play guitar and the rule there was if you wanted to get your first scratch on it - let someone else play it. The same applies to your car. Heck, even my wife has only drove my car once and because I was going to be drinking with my camping buddies one time we hung out.

Like this: N....O.....HellNodon'tevenaskaridiculousquestion!!!

If they are good friends then just explain that the car is new and you don't want to risk an insurance liability if they drive. In other words....get your own!

Just tell them your insurance won't cover them, so sorry but no.

In my world, my friends already know that if they break it they fix it. Otherwise, have a ball! It's just a machine.
