Really didn't 'come from' another vehicle; I'd been retired for a few years and at the time I purchased the Camaro we had a 2006 Corvette, a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and had given our 2005 Monte Carlo SS to my daughter 2 years earlier. I wanted another toy, but wasn't looking for a 2nd Corvette and really liked the 2013 Camaro SS, and still do. Shortly, after buying the Camaro, the motor in the Jeep went bad (long story my wife doesn't like me telling) and we replaced it with a 2014 Traverse.

350Z
Nostalgia for 280Z I had in the 80s. Great ride, if you even thought about turning it was already doing it. Wife "made me" trade for Camaro as Z was too small for her. Happy with my SS!!

From a 2001 Porsche 911 Cab to 2013 2SS 1LE
Drove a 2001 Porsche 911 Cab for some years but always loved muscle cars. Had a Mustang GT converible years ago. In 2013 I had a chance to buy another 911, but wanted something I could work on easily at home and relatively cheaper to maintain. I test drove the 2012 2SS camaro in the past but the handling was not that great. Then came the 1LE in 2013 and it was perfect for road course days. This will probably be my last sports car buy. The 5 gen while big, look great and does what I want it to do with the 1LE option. I love the new 2017 size, performance, and suspension even better. But can't spend that kind of money anymore. Plus with all of the new electronics and special suspension bits I think it will more expensive and difficult to maintain when issues do arise over time. No, I will will stick with the 5 Gen, to me its classic and the generation that brought the Camaro back from the dead.

The Camaro is my second vehicle. I had a 2013 Jeep Wrangler before this. Pro-Rock 44 front axle. ARB lockers front and rear. Over 20k in upgrades.
Hated to get rid of it but I have to drive between 7 and 10 hours to work every 3 weeks and the Jeep wasn't made for that long of a trip.I used to drive my 3/4 ton to the rig, but my daughter has started doing horse shows last year so i now have to leave the truck at the house so my wife can haul the horse trailer. Decided to trade the Jeep in on a car to drive to work. Figure if I was going to get a car I might as well get one that was fun to drive.
