black suede knee bolsters
If I read it correctly, black suede knee bolsters are available now as an option!

Yep, they've been available to configure on Chevy's site for a while now. I'm concerned with how dirty they could possibly get, though.

Do the knee bolsters really get used that much. From the pics I've seen they look too far away to concern me. But..., what about the typical dust on black ANYTHING? Black always looks amazing, but keeping it clean sucks

If "suede" is that stuff they use on the 1LE steering wheel and shifter, keep that junk OUT of my car. Had it on my Shelby steeringwheel and detested it.

Depends on your height. I'm 6'2" and my knee always rests in that area on my 5th gen.

If you corner hard with stock seat/seat belt, you'll appreciate the knee bolsters. I've seen a guy wearing knee pad while he was running on Mid-Ohio in his G37. Without that, he got big bruise he said.
This is another proof that GM did a lot of track testing. Maybe one of their test driver complained about big bruise on his/her knees. |

I wish they had suede inserts.
Oh and on the customization page they added the dark tailights as an option so we could see how it looked Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
