2015 Mustang loses 400 pounds?
I was posting over on the Mustang forums to help a friend who does not use the Internet and I noticed this:
http://forums.corral.net/forums/s550...d-400-lbs.html If this is true the Camaro will need to lose 600 pounds just to stay even. The Mustang GTs will be 11 second cars stock. Scary! Can the ATS platform get small and light enough? Still this could be pure FUD, sent to throw off GM. It is hard to believe and I imagine applies only to the 4 cylinder version, not the V8. I hope this is not a repost. I did search.

Repost.
Here is original: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=313137 We tend to believe this is the weight loss as compared to the new 4 cylinder version and the actual loss will be 250 - 300 lbs....but hey who really knows. Bring on the 6th gens!

I don't care how much it weighs or how fast it is. Mustangs look like a clear plastic bag full of cut off ***holes!
...on wheels

first off a car that is too light with all that kind of power really isnt a great idea in terms of safety imo. Second taking all that weight out sacrifices the intergrity of the car and makes it feel cheap, again imo.

a 3,200lb beast of a car ...... nah, not my cup of tea ..... would rather have an obese slow ride .... seriously, 400+hp in a lightweight 6th Gen sounds sweet to me ....

I think Ford is going to shock folks with the Turbo 4 cyl .... I bet it gets in the range of 340hp .... next option will be the Turbo V-6 @ 365-370hp ..... GT will get the 5.0L and maybe the 6.2L ....... just my guess ...
