Center caps.. Really?

Ok so i'm looking for a set of center caps. Preferably the black ones with the silver bowtie. Is there a shortage of cheap plastic caps suddenly that 4 of these would be priced at $158 dollars?

So I set out to look on Ebay and how confusing.. Any of the sets below $50 say 2010-2015 only and then you have some that say 2010-2018 (Not for SS, Z28, ZL1). etc etc. and that vehicle compatibility drop down will tell me in red that it will not fit my 2017 SS.

Can anyone confirm the center caps on 2016-18 are unique and even though they look exactly the same as the ones they show for 2010-2015. They won't fit?

Yes, the caps for the 2016 - 2018 are in fact different from the 2010 - 2015. I forget the exact sizing, but I am sure someone will chime in. May luck out and someone has a set they are willing to sell cheaper. I got my 2016 - 2018 set (black with red "SS") from a forum member cheap.

The pricing on these is just ridiculous. I wanted the red SS ones but just have trouble parting with that kind of dough on principle.

You can always paint the stock caps as well.

River city will sell you a set of caps plus paint them anyway you want for 92 bucks.

Bought my son a new '17 RS and thought of ordering him some RS centers (it came with bowties), until I saw the price at the Chevy Accessories site ($30 or so each!). He said he liked the original ones better anyway. Since then the RS, SS centers are no longer listed for '17's. Must have priced themselves out of the mrkt.

I kind of got my black with the red SS caps for free so I still have my all black center caps that came with the car so I may paint the bow ties red.

I broke down and had to have the red RS caps for my wheels a little over $100.00 for them. The funny thing is I'm the only one that notices them, but It's all about what makes you happy. Looking at my car does it for me.

LOL yep Harley Davidson "HD" stands for Hundred Dollars everytime ya get in the store it's a Hundred Dollars..... LOL Not missing it

I ended up doing the same. $70 was the lowest I could find on the ones I wanted.

The caps are such a ripoff so I painted mine. I used satin black wheel paint and it is a great match for the low gloss black LPO rims. Over a year and no chips.
