2017 Steering Issue??
I'm sorry if I may have not seen a previous thread. I'm having a steering issue every time I turn to the right. Not only can you feel it but now you can hear it. Have had the rack n pinion replaced less than 2 mths ago with no resolution. Now the dealership is looking into the steering column replacement. Apparently GM is not planning on replacing the column any time soon.
Just curious if anyone has advise or has dealt with a similar issue. Thanks, FIFTY |

Good luck with that problem. I had a clunky noise whenever I turned tight to either side on mine. They replaced the rack and pinion and the noise is gone but now from time to time the steering wheel will go crocked. I hope the clunky noise doesn't come back but I'm not too confident in gm after all the issues Ive had with my ss.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've reached out to top brass in Detroit. Waiting on a call from someone to get more specific as dealer notes show its out of their hands at this point. Will keep you posted if I come up with anything.

I have this same issue and my dealership said they had no idea what was causing it and that they called GM and they said to just monitor and bring it back in if it gets worse.
Camaro5-this "clunk" feeling is not related to the intermittent pull, my rack functions normally, but when I turn it a certain way I get almost like a pulse or a "bump" feeling in the steering action. I've just been driving it like this.... |

So when getting into the car yesterday morning, i started up and saw a bunch of lights pop up on dash!! not sure if it was from it being cold or what. i backed out not really thinking of it then noticed i could barely turn the steering wheel. Here's some of the lights that poped up that i've circled. the one at the top that is now blank showed a wrench and a gear logo. i shut her off and left in my other truck. re started when i got back home and the lights were all gone. not sure wtf is going on!!!
