The SC3's are some of the best tires I have ever had. Will be buying a set of them again I think. That or PS4's if I want some more street life out of them.

Whats the difference in the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s and the Michelin Pilot Super Sport? Tire rack has them both and they're very closely priced for a set of 4 for each. I have a daily driver, I rarely hit the highways, don't go to the track, and put about 8k miles per year. I do like to stomp on it from time to time, but nothing crazy and no burnouts. Im coming off the stock GYs and have about 10k on them and theyre pretty close. I live in FL so I dont need all season tires--just something thats ok in the rain from time to time. Also, the Michelins arent runflat, right? Does that concern anyone without a spare in our cars??

Thoughts, input??

I think the PS4S is a great choice for a replacement street tire. They do tend to cost a little more but should last longer. They even have a Tread life Warranty: 6 Years / 30,000 Miles, but only half of that if running a staggered setup due to not being able to rotate them. They won't be as sticky as the G3 but I think for the street that shouldn't be a big issue. The PS4S has more tread depth (9.5/32 vs 7/32) and weight 1lb less each than the G3. Did you notice Goodyear doesn't even show the G3 on their website!
When I called them about it they said go to tirerack.com. Haha

I like Tireracks test results:

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (Max Performance Summer 245/40R18 (93Y))
What We Liked: Does everything asked of it at a very high level.
What We'd Improve: Nothing.
Conclusion: We are genuinely impressed.
