I'm right about to hit 22k, and the penny test shows <2/32".

I've got about 12K on mine right now and noticed that running in the rain is getting a lot like driving in snow. I think I can get another season on them but bought some RS 20s that I'm going to start running next spring. I'll keep the SS wheels/tires for when I sell the car but I'm pretty much done with them.

I'm at 16K miles and the original tires are nearly worn out. Maybe get another 2K out of them. I've got a set of BF Goodrich Comp 2 All Season tires lined up to install when the weather gets bad.

I had about 12,500 on the oem supplied Goodyears before I swapped for Michelin PS4S via Costco's sale recently. $70 off and $0.01 install per tire.
Liking the PS4S more so far. We'll see how they wear.

I pulled the tires off the rims and rotated them side-to-side at 9k miles. I'm now approaching 20k miles, they are down to 3/32's and I can tell you the last layer in the tread (4/32's and below) has zero confidence on a road that's even been spit on.

Trying to decide if I want long life (new General G-Max), comfort (old Conti DWS06) or max lateral grip (new Pilot M4A1G3Usunkmybattleship). I miss the old Falken tires from 15 years ago. Those things were by far the best bang for the buck on any car they had sizes for. Surprising good forward and lateral grip from a semi firm tire compound that lasted 30k miles in the real world and didn't cost a ton.

They have that warranty if you can rotate them. Divide in half if you can’t rotate.

I was wondering if anyone out there has hit that many miles yet in their 2016, and what type of life they are getting on their stock tires, assuming regular use (not on the track & not doing burn outs).
I have 14,500 miles on my 2016 2SS and the right rear is completely bald.
I'm getting Bridgestone Potenza 970RE's

Just hit 16,500 on my 2SS and all 4 are about done. Maybe another 2000 miles at best.

9500 miles on my stock tires and the rears are down to the wear bars(fronts aren’t bad). And I’ve done maybe 4-5 burnouts and none of them were that bad. I’m excited to get new tires until I started pricing them out...

Almost 2 years old and 11,000 miles and my rears look almost new. I’ve done one real burnout.

I'm at 17,000 and my tires need replacing. The fronts are wearing on the outer edge more. Maybe alignment issue? I'll have it aligned when the new tires go on. I've been thinking about the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. It has good reviews and the set is under $700 from tire rack.
