Top Speed ??
Now remember boys street racing is not allowed on this forum. Just asking everyone's top speed. I hit 153 in my vert today at a friends landing field. Private property. Wasn't looking to go top speed. I was just leaving a party and decided to do a run. Wish I would have checked the 155 cut off speed on the vert. Will do next time. So what's y'alls top speed ???

If we're talking about the SS, it's 180mph for the coupe, 155mph for the convertible. This is what GM advertises.

I hit 167 in the Atlantic Ocean with the stock tires, would of done better with drag radials

I'm talking about what you have done in your car. Top speed. These cars are so well balanced that 150 felt like 80. I'm just curious what everyone else has gotten theirs to.

Speed limited at 155 in the vert felt like 100 lol. I love living in farm country with wide open views. Love this car simply a blast to drive slow or bang gears on back roads

Did the car cut out like the old ones. A hard cut out (similar to rev limiter) or was it an easy limiting where the car just wouldn't go any faster ?

I'm way behind, I need to hit up Mexico again, I've only hit like 110ish in my 6th Gen. Pushed 135ish in my 5th Gen and it got a little scary when the wind picked up, hoping my 6th Gen will handle it better.

118 at the drag strip in the 1/4. I've never had cared for going for the top speed thing. My 12 Camaro LS3 never went past 88 and was never raced.

My best observed speed was 146MPH on the front straight at NOLA Motorsports Park. I need to get my exit speed up a bit on turn 16 to be able to see 150MPH.
