I bought the nordlock and loctite.
3 questions:
-can you refresh the torque upper and lower, I forgot sorry?
- which one to use, blue or red loctite?
- how do you proceed for the loctite ?
(You put it before the bolt, on the male? On the bolt? What quantity? how long do you have before it’s sealed?...)
Tx

- lower torque 89ft lbs (120Nm)
- upper torque 74ft lbs (100Nm)
- I use normaly LOCTITE 243
- put the bolt through and than apply the Loctite
- you put a few drops at the location where the nut will sit.

Here ist the corresponding Service Bulletin #16 Pic6276 Clunk Noise From Front Suspension

I understand :
Start to put the bolt
Put few drops where it supposed to end
Finish the bolt and torque
You only have few second to complete and torque before it seals?

Loctite hardens in the absence of air, but not that quickly, so you have time to torque it down.

I had the same clicking noise at 500 miles. I have a 1LE so suspension is stiffened up a bit and I think maybe my area that I drive in caused the issue. My roads are not too smooth. I'm thinking of upgrading to the BMR sway bar end links in the front and rear. They seem to be much beefier than the stock ones are. Anyone here upgrade to the BMR sway bar end links?

There is no need to change out the endlink. There is minimal if any benefit found in an aftermarket endlink. Nordloc washers and a drop of LocTite are the solution.

So instead of dealing with these sleazy service departments around here I figured I’d go the NordLock route myself. Ordered the BMR endlinks because of the more robust design along with nylock flanged nuts. Important to note there are two sizes of the nordlock washers and if you’re using the oem nut or another flanged nut you should order the larger OD size. Here’s a comparison.

Well I tried flanged, non flanged with nordlocks, red loctite and the clunk keeps coming back. Honestly I think as long as I drive on crap northeast roads this noise is just going to keep coming back. After the flanged nut I used the smaller conical nuts provided with the bmr endlinks. You can see the nordlock washers were working as they dig into the shock but just don’t hold the endlink tight enough to keep it from sliding around and clunking.

I LOVE a challenge. Feel like a road trip with free work at JPSS at the other end?

Another data point to add:

Had the TSB performed on my 1LE suspension equipped car. While the previous endlink nuts would work themselves loose within a city block, these larger endlink nuts held for an entire day!

So the TSB doesn't fix the clunk either. I'm going to go the Nordlock and Loctite route now. Which Loctite should I get for this job? Blue, right?
