I would take the Gen 5 1le over the Gen 6 SS anyday , i think you would be very happy with the 1Le. I miss my Gen51le ,but not that much .

I’ve driven both, the 14’s interior looks archaic compared to the 16. The 16 feels lighter, more nimble and has a better/ more up to date technology package. A set of sway bars, wheels / tires on the 16 will no doubt handle / feel better than the 14. Personally, I’d save and get a 17+ 1LE.

definitely the 6th gen, I have had both the 5th gen and the 6th gen. The 6th is so much better especially the interior, and the more aggressive look.

I'm going to look at the '16 1SS tomorrow but probably no test drive due to the weather. I'll let you all know what I think.

I don't know man, advantages and disadvantages for both of them. I was going to post my reply, but truthfully don't know what I'd choose. Post pictures of both cars, then let the interwebs decide.

There is no question, it's the 16 1SS.....if the only thing keeping you from making the deal is a sunroof....
