Questions on Mylink
I'm needing to replace my mylink assembly, and had a few questions before doing the work myself. From the threads I've been reading, I gather that the mylink assembly needs to come from a similar year model vehicle, and needs to be coded to the VIN of my car. Is all this correct? I found one from a 2017SS 1LE, so it should work in my 2017 1SS.

Are you upgrading from the 7 to the 8inch?

Questions on Mylink
I’ll ask the obvious question, why? I assume you have a 2017, why are you replacing the MyLink if you aren’t upgrading? Any issue, assuming it isn’t physical damage, would be covered by your warranty.

+1 Only LT cars have the 7" display standard.
