Michelin Pilot Spore Cup 2

I'm due for tires, so I'm thinking about trying these instead. Everyone is raving about them. However on TireRack, it looks like two different sets with the exact same specs? But slightly different price? Can anyone tell me the difference between these two?

I’m probably wrong but I believe Michelin works with different manufacturers to make tires for different cars. Slight difference for Porsche and Ferrari etc. each version is for a specific car on there. They also made a specific ps4s for the 18 Ford Mustang GT

I know one of the cup 2 has a higher tread rating but the main difference is the tread compound one sticker than the other or softer too. Again when I was reading up on the ps4s for the mustang the report said that the mustang version would be sticker than the normal ps4s

that's what's interesting, they are both sport cup 2's, same tread wear, just one says K1 Ferrari and one says MO Mercedes

Yea it’s the compound the tire has one might last a little longer or be alittle more sticky on the street. Either way the tread will only last maybe 5k. I’m back and forth on these cause I need traction I’m pushing almost 800 to the tire but don’t wanna drive drag radials on the street

Got grip?

Wallyworld had a mis-print last week on these, really cheap prices for a couple of days, then they caught it. I had purchased Bridgestone pole position S-04's two week previous.
The Bridgestone's have excellent lateral grip, I want more grip on launch than what these have. My 1.5 neg camber may have something to do with it, you think?

Correct the tires are made for different Original Equipment Specs. That why they say BMW, MBZ ect. They were OE spec for that car.

Thats also why GM vehicle original tires have a TPC spec ( tire performance criteria ) on the side wall. Our original tires are built to GM's specifications.

I would stick with the original tires.
What did the ZL1 wear on the 'Ring? Not Cup2s
