Adams Quick Sealant Questions
I've been using Adams product from day one and love them.
I have two questions about the new Quick Sealant. 1. What are the advantages of applying it to an already waxed car that has been washed and detail sprayed before drying? (I live in FL and the car is in the garage unless in use.) 2. Is the Quick Sealant safe to use on clear bra's on white cars? Thanks and I hope to have an answer soon as I need to place an order for Leather Conditioner and VRT very soon.

I've been told by Adam's that it is fine to use on clearbras as it is optically clear.

Thanks for your business! We appreciate it. Quote:
The benefit of choosing a sealant instead of a wax is the higher melting point and better detergent resistance. Basically this means it will protect better and last longer than most waxes. Quote:
Sorry I wasn't faster with the response. With the days off for the holiday I'm playing catchup on my forum replies. |

I bought a can to use on my DD. I love the stuff. Goes on easy and nothing complicated to do except wipe with applicator and wait a few minutes and wipe with a detail towel. Great stuff.

Yes you can use detail spray over the sealant. I'd wait till it cured though. Which only takes like 30 minutes max right?

1 coat will suffice, 2 if you want to go heavier, but not required.
As far as how often, that depends. The lower rocker panels and areas like that will see far more abuse than other areas of the car so the time between applications may be shorter than say if you were to apply it to your hood. We've had customers reporting 5+ months in some cases... I've purposely neglected it and seen 3+. The best indicator is how water behaves on the surface after you wash/final rinse. If it beads/rolls off the area easily the sealant is still working. If it doesn't then its time for a new coat. Absolutely. No and it actually IS protection. |
