Help me pick a Camaro

Hey all I joined awhile back when I had Camaro fever but ended up buying the wife a Lacrosse now im back. I cant decide what to buy, I would love to buy a pre supercharged from a member here but im using her credit and i dont know the process of buying from private party. Her credits 602 ish (with 8yr old repo and other bad marks) and my names tied up in the Lacrosse prob 18k down payment 35,000 is safe zone for me 2014 1ss range but I want HUD............ Should i face fear and spend a lil over 42-44k on 2ss or play it safe with 1ss or buy a used 2011 and feel really safe but see same car everywhere

Get a 1SS 1LE. You'll prefer the performance over the HUD in the long run.

I wouldn't be disappointed in buying used as long as it's a very low mileage car that's obviously been well cared for. However I would skip the 2014 2SS and go with a 2014 1SS instead. All of the things I would consider needs this day in technology are already standard equipment on the 1SS. Just you using the words "playing it safe" tells me that the 2011 SS or new 2014 1SS are better choices for you. Don't forget that if you do go with the 2011 that there are way too many appearance mod choices that you can make that will easily distinguish your car from others on the road.

1LE is amazing if I do say so myself I'd absolutely have chosen that package over the 2SS if I had to

Stay with in your means... You don't have to have a 1LE to enjoy an SS. I say get a 1SS with auto. Do your research on the fuel management system for the L99. I say that so you don't ask why does it seem not to have power at times. I think if you get a 1SS Auto it would be just fine.
Also asking for advice on a manufacture site can be like running with scissors not a good idea. Why you ask, well most of the members are performance driven. So most answers will go in that direction.

He cares about performance too. Did you read his post? He mentions wanting a used supercharged vehicle. I wouldn't trust something already modified but that's just me. Do what your budget allows and what will ultimately make you happy. It's just hard to pass on the great deal of a 1LE package.
