Not true at all. I'm sure some of the haters feel this way but most of us here are car enthusiasts and have different tastes regardless if its an old or new design; we can point out things we don't like while appreciating the car as a whole. I myself don't mind the front but can't get over the rear end changes the 2014 has received. Although seeing pictures of the rear tail lights lit up at night do look decent.

Ok. I'm sorry for attempting to defend the new facelift. I just saw a 2014 Camaro SS/RS at my local dealer in black and there was so much about it that I didn't care for. The grill looks like my stock grill was hacked in half and the nose looks like it was pressed down to where the headlights are going to pop out. The taillights look too typical as well. Bottom line is that the 2010-2013 design wins! Sorry GM, you failed with this facelift. Please fire the person who gave the go ahead with this design.
Now the 2014 Silverados.....beautiful job! |

Wait till you see one without the rear spoiler, it looks worse. You definetly have to have the spoiler.

Plenty of reasons. people hate change. People hate the idea of something being newer and better than theirs. I love the new front, but I hate the back lights so much :(

Newer, I'd rather have a retro 60's looking camaro and better to who? 60's camaro will never be the newest but they're the best camaros still. You know that

Why the hate? It is not so much the hate. But the collective dislike of the tail lights. I believe those who dislike them are the Camaro owners from the start of the 5th Gen era and/or who have owned multiple Camaros in the past. I have joined the Camaro community in 2011. Since then I have learned a lot about the past and present generations. I am sure the same thing happened in the past. So we just have to embrace what we have as we wait for the next generation of the Camaro!!
In the meantime:

O boo who. 2014 camaros are here to stay. Get use to it or continue to cry like a little girl in the corner.

It's not the first time Camaros were "facelifted" by going from 4 separate lights to 2 rectangular lights, and adding some chrome strips.

Are they whinning over the new vette sites??? A car style cannot stay the same forever. I like the new front end as I don't have to buy the hertige grill now. Loved the mail slot unit I seen the new hood on the SS. I liked the 10-13 tail lights the best but on all new cars I seem to like the front or rear changes, never both. Haynes |

Well you do realize the tail lights on the 10-13 Camaros were in no way retro to the 60's Camaro, name one year in the 60's where the Camaro had 4 separate tail lights...............
