I didn't read the signature lol. That generation F body trans am was badass. Just a way better looking car all around than the Camaros. I always did want one, but I couldn't get past how the engine was tucked so deeply into the dash the way it was. Making working on it such a chore.

I have a 100% stock 2018 ZLE M6 and it has always had some pops, cracks and burbles on decel from 2nd gear... this is true of all ZL1s and according to many it's more pronounced now since 2019 ECU code update. I also noticed that the burbles and pops go away some after you disconnect the battery, then they come back as the ECU relearns fuel trims, etc. This is not surprising.
It sort of comes and goes over time and depends on how you drive it, but easy to make it do this. If your ZL1 truly never does this no mater how you drive or do the mid-RPM decel holding 2nd gear, I would get it checked, may be an issue with tune. |

Anyone know if Chevy dealer will update the ECU to latest tune if we ask them to, or pay them to? I like to have the latest developments and all relevant hardware is the same--even if the oil pump changed.
Btw.. my 2018 ZLE has always had same oil pressure at different RPM levels recently reported by 2021-2022 owners. |

My ZLE is now set full low and still never scrapes my steep hillside house driveway in LA. It's only a track and canyon car, and lowering it gives me a lower center of gravity and improved angle on the splitter and rear wing for a little more downforce, so I like it. According to shop, also makes adding more front camber easier. |

Lowering the front end is not the best idea for cornering stability. According to the man himself....Bill Wise (nurburgring driver and gm engineer), he told me to run the ride height at 692 mm for best handling. .05 toe front and back, and then the track camber settings, and probably mid range or softer for tight tracks on rear sway bar.
