I also belive that the modes or a mode will be customizable to a certain extent. Plus, there will probabbly be a tuning mod that someone will relase that will disable AFM. We will have to get more details, but the AFM seems to be a bit selectable to a certain extent.
It seems strange to me that GM would certify a vehicle for mileage, with a fuel saving feature turned on and then allow the driver to turn it off. I would think that's the kind of thing that would get them in trouble with the Feds.
It can be turned off with HP tuners(or at least I know it works on a 2014 Corvette)
The Range device should also work(or at least I know it works on a 2014 Silverado)

I noticed that the 2.0 has a little bit more torque than the V6.

I know I'm a bit late to the party but here's my 0.02.

The car looks like the evolution we were talking about and I like it. I'll need to see one in person and would really like to see one right next to my 5th Gen for a thorough comparison. SS powertrain looks great and coupled with the new interior makes a great package.
Badge placement for the SS and RS seems like an afterthought and I'm not loving the nostrils on the SS. Other than that I think it's a great car and look forward to it being tested. I also like that it doesn't outdate my car like the C7 did to the C6 (in the looks department).

I admit, I didn't read closely thru all 14 pages of posts but has anyone seen any close-up pics of the hood vents from above and below? Just curious as to what exactly they look like and how they function.

I don't believe we have pics from below cause I do not believe we have seen under the hood of the SS. But there may be some from above.

Isn't that the reason the EPA rating of the Stingray is not in Eco mode? I think the rating is based on whatever the default setting is(the setting at startup), the default in the Stingray is not Eco, so maybe it will be on the Camaro.

I remember I've seen an open hood SS somewhere in the recent reveal threads... VERY TIGHT, from what the picture showed.

Trunk space looks quite narrower. What is in the storage compartment on the right side? tire changing kit?
