I really, really like the interior. In fact, I quite like the whole thing, but the exterior doesn't quite look even as good as the new Mustang, let alone the 5th gen Camaro. Except for the front, that looks great. In my opinion, of course.
I might be very interested in the ZL1, or whatever model will be in that position. Especially so with the LT4. Seems like I'll need more than bolt ons with my SS to keep up with the 6th gen SS though, that kinda sucks. |

The only thing I'm not feeling is the wheels. I'm disappointed they didn't bring one with black/anthracite wheels, and an all black interior. Hopefully someone more talented than I am can photochop a black hood and black 1LE wheels onto a 6th gen soon! ;-)
So far my 1LE isn't going anywhere, but a 6th gen 1LE will probably make it a tough call. Especially if it turns significantly faster lap times and weighs 200 lbs less. The idea of a 6th gen 1LE that weighs under 3700 with 455/455 for maybe 47-49K..... jeesh. Might be nipping at the z28s heels at the track. The >200lb weight loss claim, if its true across the lineup, is HUGE and will compound any track advantage. Especially with the supposedly lighter '15 mustang gaining enough weight to make it almost the same as the current gen. So well done Chevy, now lets get that 1LE track focused version out ASAP! ;-) -Dave '14 SW 2SS/RS 1LE, NPP |

You sir clearly care nothing for performance. The LT1 isn't a baby anymore. Its been proven and with the 6th gen being lighter, this car will be much faster than a stock 13 SS. And I'm sorry but for what you think you would be losing in exterior styling you would more than gain with the interior. I ALMOST considered trading my Z for that interior. This car is better in every way than the 5th gen. Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but.....THAT INTERIOR...plus the added performance makes a trade or straight out purchase a no brainer for camaro fans. If your financials are in order, of course.

I'm now glad I bought mine at 22% below sticker price. I love my 2SS/RS, so now I feel comfortable in waiting 5 years for my next Camaro, and knowing it will look real good.

Chevy hit this one out of the ballpark!! So glad the 440HP rumors were not true. 455HP/455lbft and 200lbs lighter, MRC, Dual Mode Exhaust, 8 Spd Auto, and FANTASTIC interior!!!

Nope:
quoted: All Camaro models offer Brembo brakes – they’re standard on SS – optimized for the car’s mass and performance capability. On Camaro LT, the available brakes include 12.6-inch (320 mm) front rotors with four-piston calipers and 12.4-inch (315 mm) rear rotors with single-piston sliding calipers. Camaro SS employs 13.6-inch (345 mm) front rotors with four-piston fixed calipers and 13.3-inch (338 mm) rear rotors with four-piston fixed calipers.

Well, I'm not the gossiping type, but the butt hurt over on the Mustang forum is hella deep. Wow, those guys are something else. No wonder I don't ever visit there that often. Anyhow, GM nailed it with this Camaro.
