I was gonna try and type this on my phone but nope

LS is a V6 model, it has the lowest interior, stereo, wheels, and speed that a camaro can get. - Top speed (115mph) I think or around there, also cheap looking headlights (no halos)

Next step up is the LT
1LT is the standard upgraded V6, with MyLink stereo touchscreen, Better wheels and higher grade interior (these options aren't available on the LS) Top speed on the 1LT V6 is 155-156 MPH. Also has DRL in the fog position and nice Halogen headlights with Halo ring.

Next step is the 2LT V6, Top speed is the same wheels are the same but options are NAV with MyLink, Backup Camera, and Gauges under the Radio. I think this is right...

Anything below this line i'm not sure, i'm a V6 owner.

Next Is SS which has the still cheaper interior, standard headunit (single din non touchscreen) and non Halo headlights.

2SS is upgraded interior, stereo (mylink touchscreen and Boston Acoustics) , headlights, wheels, and the HomeLink system which gives 2 programmable remotes for garage doors.

ZL1/ and Z/28 <-- Not sure.

Dunno why I didn't just look for this

Gotta confess: No matter how many times I see them on these fora, my brain doesn't read 1LT and 2LT as they're meant to be seen in the Camaro world. My part time gig interprets those...a bit differently.

The "2" level of LT and SS also come with leather seats, color Driver Information Center (DIC), and Heads Up Display (HUD).

OP (which stands for Original Poster, the person who starts the thread, that's Normz in this case), as you learn all this jargon - don't think we're coming on to you if we ask you what your DIC says.

You have to put in for one ahead of time and GM has a lottery to see who gets the opportunity to buy one.

Right. No such animal as a LS/RS.

Nope. Not a trim level. Track performance package.

That said, kudos to 1LE guys for making (A LOT) of people believe that 1LE is a trim level above the 2SS. Great marketing skills :P
