And how Ahhnold wasn't going to raise the price and that was the campaign promise that got him elected?

Gray Davis must be laughing now... the Governator is doing EXACTLY the same thing that got his predecessor recalled and for the EXACT same reason. No matter how much of our money these parasites take, it's never enough.

We should just fire the whole lot of them and save the state a bundle.
That one ( THE GOVERNATOR )is done
Now( we ) have the People Governor , or at least he said so

I just pay the fees, and then write them off my taxes, If you itemize your deductions, You can get partial write off. Small price to pay to live in a state that we live in...

Georgia is also an ape raper. Hadn't paid under 500 bucks since 2010. Started at 700.00. Taxes on vehicle every year. Some people here pay a few thousand for a 12 month decal.

If I didn't know better, I'd think that you are making disparaging remarks about the fine Peoples Republic of Kalifornia!

Ain't it wonderful? Just like the tolls on the NY State Thruway (built in the 50s) were supposed to pay for it by the sometime in the 60s. Well... here it is 50+ years later and guess what - the tolls keep going up. Now they say it's for "maintenance". If that's the case, what are state gas taxes for? And I thought interstates were Federal highways.

Once the government starts taxing... it only gets worse.
