Modding my SS or getting a Z06

After checking out this website and seeing this I may be getting a Z06 next year preowned of course. Look closely at it's position in standings. (http://www.fastestlaps.com/tracks/nordschleife.html). Now I know this is the Z07 package but Abel Chevy told me that a guys there has high knowledge of this car and said you can make a stock Z06 C6 into this package for like 8 to 9grand.

I would take the Z06 and MOD it to no end if I had unlimited cash flow...

I have a 2011 Vette for my Daily driver, and my Modded 2010 Camaro for my play car..

Are you saying you want to buy a Z06 and turn it into a Z07?

ZO6 without a doubt. the car is fundamentally designed to be a better performance car over the camaro.

You're better off buying aftermarket components than going to Z07 piece-wise.

F55 is ok, but a good set of coilovers is even better. You'll need PTM too. You can actually get that pretty easily.

Yes you should upgrade the brakes.

Don't forget the tires. PSS, PS2, or cup tires.

The only mods you need on a Z06 is a set of good R compound tires and call it a day. The car is perfect the way it is and you will be hard pressed to find many people that car drive that car to it's limit.

I actually drove a Z06 C6, C6 stock 2011 coupe and C5 Z06 and trust me those cars needs coilovers and sways for the F1 loving maniac that I am. Even the stock C6 Z06 didn't satisfy me so if I get one definitely suspension upgrades and maybe an intake with no tune and brakes not too much modding. I originally asked because the lap times fo the Z06/Z07 is crazy even the 7:10 around the Nurburgring is sick think of it only 11 seconds away from braking into the 6 min barrier.
