Quarter times

What's the quarter mile time on a ss manual stock? What would it take to get it into the low 10s

Check out the official 1/4 mile list (post #2 has all the lists).
Scroll down to the Forced Induction list and you'll see what's needed to run 10s.

It wont take much...just do this...Remove trunk lid hod and doors and replace with fiber glass, add a high lift cam, Twin turbo charge it if you can find the space, or supercharge it zl1 style. Or just by a zl1 and do the weight reduction and you should be in the 10s.

13.0 stock. Cam and gears can get you into tens. Low tens you need bottom end work or forced induction. And of course there are always traction issues

How low in the 10's and by what means? N/A or FI or N20??

Oh and you need THIS to get in the low 10's. More than once.

Ask any of the guys on here who run low tens and see if they did it with a cam and gears only.

Slicks and skinnys, a supercharger, cam, headers, with some supporting upgrades like axles and suspension work. Ya and a good job to pay for all that!

I read in a magazine where an owner claimed high 10s with just a Whipple supercharger, Long tubes, Gears, and Drag Radials.

That's it, (no internal engine mods - stock heads/cam, no skinnies or slicks, etc).

I guess its possible, but he probably forgot to mention the 100 shot he had hidden.

Yeah, cam, full bolt ons, gears, and drag radials usually puts a car in the mid 11s. With lots of weight reduction, it could be possible. But a full weight 5th gen would likely see mid 11s (cam only).

Low 10's requires a stroker, cam and forced induction along with a complete replacement of the drive line. Basically it's a pipe dream. One car has gone high 10's with heads and cam but that is no where near the norm. More like mid-high 11's with that set up.
