Took the Grandson to Eddyville 2nite for the Fuel Altered nationals qualifying. God you just got to love the smell of nitro on a cool summer nite!!! Won't be going to any shows this weekend,Bummer!!

Special Olympics Car Show Update We had 4 folks cancel who had planned on coming. For those of you coming from out west, south, and southwest, we will meet you at the corner of Hwy 20 & 14(The Mill... BP & Arby's) at 0830. Those coming from the east and southeast(CR, Iowa City, Davenport, etc) we will meet at Blaine's Farm & Fleet, in Cedar Falls, at 0800 and leave at 0810 to meet the rest of the gang at The Mill. Then cruise into Parkersburg together. Those of you up north, we'll meet you in Parkersburg. We WILL NOT be parking under any trees. LOTS of sap last year!! ***You CAN register at the show!!!*** Here is the list of who still is going, we have 8 for sure's and 2 possibles*(updated at 2030)... 1. The_Grinch 2. INTIMIDAT3R 3. Steve_RS_Camaro 4. Grundere1 5. Keith 6. PwrManPaul66 7. Thirsty 8. Toesuf94 9. Sinner860 - Possible 10. Had a GREAT time at Parkersburg with everyone!!!
 Lots of GREAT cars and people turned out to Support the Special Olympics. More than last year. Almost 300 cars in attendance!!!  GREAT support from the ICE... The_Grinch, PwrManPaul, INTIMIDAT3R, Steve_RS_Camaro, Keith, Russ & Lana, and Thirsty.  Possible new recruit, Wildman Wade.  Who also happens to run a swap meet and said to let him know when the ICE comes because he lets clubs in FREE!!! Thirsty, who calls Cedar Rapids home, showed up in the afternoon and spent a few hours with everyone after visiting with family earlier in the day. Even DennisfromIowa came from Des Moines to visit.    Those who couldn't make missed a GREAT show and a GREAT time!!!
