Great results Ted. Is the ZR1 map sensor a plug in swap?

Yes but calibration must be changed in the ECM to read it.

Ted, would an auto trans need any additional parts?

What am I missing? Those numbers seem really low for that gear. Maybe the dyno or stock tune? If stock tune then you don't the LT4 stuff then right? Before and after dyno sheets may explain it because I'm passed those numbers without LT4 stuff that I really want. Or thought I wanted.

Joe I may be wrong but I think the 1le having the zl1 intank pump helps as well as the 2.9 Whipple and smaller pulley the other stuff may be just to ensure the car has plenty of fuel. But I’m not an expert by any means

Absolutely correct. Just don't have the injectors or HPFP. Just would figure if you are paying the coin to have the fuel you'd use it. Don't get me wrong that is a definite solid build and great numbers. Just hoping with that setup you could climb into the mid to high 600s without the need for meth. But i'm still a noob on all of this stuff.

And I hate that it came out that I was questioning Ted because I know he knows his stuff. So pretty much fall back on my noob comment but also displeasure with our current fuel delivery with these cars.

I think the only way you would be able to really use the lt4 fuel system to its full potential would be to add a cam and forged pistons. A full setup like that is gonna be another 7500 at least thats one of the quotes I got came in around. I’m thinkkng I should have just done a full lt4 swap the 1le is basically just missing that. I might have been cheaper lol

LOL... I know right. The thing I go by now is that whatever I buy to make sure it can be used on a new forged engine that I will eventually build. But then again I really do have the HP bug.

Sorry Ted I didn't mean to jack your thread... Mad prompts to you and the work that you do. If I still lived up in Ledyard I'd definitely come see you.

Yes sir, we have control over the fuel pump control module which is one more piece of puzzle to control fuel pressure.

You are Missing Octane limitations.

This is Max power on 8-9 psi boost on 93 octane.

We start to run out of fuel around 575 with the LT-1 Fuel components as tested many times.

We don't feel it right to run any fuel system on the edge of max delivery.

Upgrading the fuel system properly supports the whole build now and long term with room to grow.

Later down the road when parts start to wear and fuel delivery starts to diminish some that is when we will start seeing failures, this pattern is in the history books with previous models.

If so and so want to be a hero and stretch the fuel system past it's actual limits that is on them, I won't do it.

I can't say it enough Fuel system is the foundation of the build.

Ted.
